“Slavery Isn't Dead — How to Solve It?” Competition
The “Slavery Isn't Dead — How to Solve It?” competition has four categories (all submissions are to be in English):
- Best short documentary on the problem and possible solutions to the problem.
- Best written proposal for solutions to the problem.
- Best poster advocating specific steps to stop this situation.
- Best graphic novel (text and illustrations) for educating teens and adults about this problem.
(Video not to exceed 5 minutes in running time. If credits included, they must be part of the 5-minute maximum.)
(Proposals to be double-spaced Word document with the font 12 point and no longer than 10 pages.)
(Poster to be submitted in jpg or png format. Color or black-and-white poster accepted.)
(Graphic novel to be submitted in pdf format no longer than 20 pages. Color or black-and-white graphic novel accepted.)
All entries will be submitted electronically, and the different categories will be judged by appropriate judges. Note: All entries that do not follow the requirements (such as exceeding the documentary running time) will be automatically disqualified.
Competition entry dates: February 15, 2010 – April 15, 2010
Rules: Contestants may enter only one entry in each category. Contestants may enter in one, two, three or four categories as long as only one entry per category. The submission is final. We cannot accept revised submissions at any time. All submitted material to be in English.

Prize for winner in each category: (to be determined by corporate sponsor)
Finalists: 5 in each category will be announced in May 2010.
Winner in each category: Will be announced on the eve of the World Cup in June 2010.
